I didn’t even need to read the instructions to see how it worked. There are a choice of three sounds, white noise, heartbeat and rain on a tin roof. Once the button is pressed the relevant button is illuminated by a gentle white light and the sounds begins playing, once pressed the sound then continues for 10 minutes before stopping and the unit turns off. the sound buttons are cleverly placed close to your fingers when you’re holding the device through the elastic It seems impossible to imagine that your newborn will ever sleep more than two or three hours at a time, but after you’ve got through the first month, starting a gentle bedtime routine can help. The swaddle cloth range from American Manufacturer Aden & Anais have been awarded MadeForMums Bronze Award Winner 2017. Your baby will start to recognise the cues that it's time to sleep and making them feel secure and comfortable as possible will help the process, too.

I love that it’s so easy to use, that it comes with a case and the amazing fact that you can play white noise that ONLY your baby can hear and that will not get drowned by other noises. Perfect for settling your baby in a noisy and busy environment. While this may seem like a basic requirement for baby care, The Gro Company makers of the every popular Grobag, has a nifty new product that can help parents with this task. One may question whether something like this is really necessary, but most new moms are pretty tired, possibly frazzled and those who are nursing may be dehydrated and not keen on making their dry mouth worse. That will have to wait though until baby comes, so for now, I’m testing out the features and looking forward to using it in the spring. It transmits soothing 'white noise' directly to your baby, keeping them relaxed and happy. Fantastic for at home as part of your calming routine, or when out and about or travelling. There is a choice of three soothing white noise sounds to choose from: heart-beat, ocean waves or rain falling on a tin roof, which are all set at a safe volume. The mitt can be removed, washed and re-used. The cushion is covered in soft, pure cotton. This would be even better if you could set the time for longer than 10 minutes as 10 minutes wasn't always quite long enough as when it stopped it was a rush to get it started again before it was too late! We put the grohush to the test with baby T over the weekend during an attempt to take some nice photos of baby boy to share with family, T decided he’d had enough and boy did he let us know about it!

I tried using the grohush during his first week at home and he didn’t respond to it, now he is a couple of weeks older it seems to be taking affect in calming him and we will continue to use it for as long as it will soothe him. It would seem that white noise is something T responds to at the moment, not all babies will respond to this type of calming device but for those that do it’s a fantastic product. This magical cube is known for being used for dementia sufferers and people who struggle to settle to sleep at night as it projects a night scene around the room. Gro-hush is a baby calmer with soothing sounds–three white noises which are often comforting to young babies and also used to help adults sleep. The white noises on Gro-hush includes heart beat, waves and pouring rain, and Baby Boy seems to like the sound of crashing waves, which is what I now use as part of my baby routine.I’m one of those parents who first the first 6 months of my baby’s life, never left the house without a white noise device of some kind. My baby was – um – spirited, I guess you can call it? You can bet I’d find myself in line at the grocery store or out for a walk with other mom friends and their babes, and who’s baby would be shrieking at the top of her lungs? Mine. T is three weeks old and has since fallen asleep to the sound of the grohush baby calmer by having it lay next to him while settling in his bed. Before using the grohush you must make sure your baby isn’t crying because they require feeding/changing or simply a great big cuddle from mummy and daddy, otherwise you’ll have one very agitated tiny person! The size, light, cover and sound functions make Gro-hush a practical and easy-to-use baby calmer–and the truth is that sometimes anything that can help a new mum get a bit of extra sleep and energy is much appreciated.

It helped calm and soothe my tired grumpy baby. He loved the different soothing noises and it was very easy to use. It's been really useful as my little one is teething and gets upset when he's too tired.Enter the white noise. It saved me. Several times. In my opinion, white noise is my magic solution for a calm baby. I brought white noise with me everywhere I went. I often used my phone and a white noise teddy bear to help. it comes with a travel case and washable cover – love this cause I can just throw it in my diaper bag and not worry about spillage etc… Getting your child to sleep soundly is the Holy Grail of parenting, but achieving those golden hours of unbroken shut-eye (for you too!) can be a bit of a struggle.
