Personalized Wellness: With a 3 more attachments and 3 speeds, your device has the power to massage any area like a pro. Massage on the go with ultra-quiet deep penetrating technology. To be honest, we didn’t expect Therabody to alter the shape of mini 2. We’re guessing it’s a small price to pay for what you get from Therabody. Theragun mini 2.0 in action.

However, the strain on the arm isn’t as bad as it was with mini 1. This is because mini 2 is much thinner now. It’s also lighter. It’s now even better for folks with small hands and females too. It’s definitely a unique shape, but the ergonomics is only so-so.We noticed the battery drains faster when pressure is applied. The speed gear used also impacts the time on battery, just not as much as applying pressure. At no stage did I feel that the power of the Theragun Mini 2 was insufficient for its purpose – and I am used to extremely painful massages. Sure, the Theragun Pro has a lot more power and more attachments but to me I think it’s a hard sell given how good the Theragun Mini 2 is. More professional athletes than I may need that extra power but for a majority of folks the Theragun Mini 2nd Gen is enough. We like what we see. Everything feels premium, as expected. The build quality is still top-notch, and it’s even better now that it’s not oversized. We’ll discuss more in ergonomics. Having compared it with other mini devices in the market, we found the current price point to be steep, making it likely the most expensive mini device out there. We haven’t recommended it here as the best alternative because it’s weaker than the new Theragun mini.

That said, we love the new smaller and lighter body of this new Theragun mini. However, we still hold the same view as before in terms of ergonomics. Ekrin Bantam is probably the best Theragun mini alternative. It has about the same features and then some. There are three LED lights positioned next to the power button that signal what speed setting you’re on, and there are three colors to indicate the battery life. Green means it’s fully charged, Blue means the battery is at 50 percent, and Red indicates it’s starting to die. Each full charge takes about 90 minutes, and a full battery offers 120 minutes of use. The new Theragun mini isn’t just a complementary device, it can be effective on its own. We also love the reduced size and the new sound it makes when you turn it on. The Mini is capable of three speeds: 1750, 2100, and 2400 PPM (percussions per minute). This is an acceptable enough range, although competing models like Legiral Le3 Massage Gun have a lot more variety in PPM (at less of an expense). Adjusting the speed is done through a sole button on the side of the device, with three lights indicating the current PPM.Therabody came up with a great idea to make the entry-level model of its Theragun range accessible but not cheap, a fine line to walk indeed. Once you let go of the concept that percussion massagers are for athletes only, you will realise how convenient the Theragun Mini is. But as far as power goes, you’ll definitely notice the difference between the Mini and the more expensive Theragun models like the Prime, Elite, and Pro. Because of the Mini’s shorter amplitude, you’ll have to apply more pressure to get a comparably deep massage. But with only a 20-pound maximum additional force, pressing too hard will cause the shaft to slow down, stall, or recoil. Float the device across areas in need of treatment, gradually applying light to moderate pressure as needed. Due to its compact design and easy portability, the Theragun Mini 2 is one of our favorite massage guns. The handle is easy to hold, the durable plastic build has a rubbery texture, and the attachments are firm yet forgiving. Since it only weighs about one pound, you won’t experience any fatigue while using it, it’s super easy to toss in your bag, and it has an impressive battery life. Ergonomic Handle

It’s Therabody’s least expensive massage gun, but it’s still pricey. If you’re sold on the brand but don’t want to spend more than a few hundred dollars on a tool for recovery, then this new gun is perfect. If it’s Green, you have a full battery, Blue indicates that it’s at 50 percent, and Red means it’s starting to die. Once it eventually does die, you can expect it to take around an hour and a half to charge fully. Dimensions and Weight Therabody worked on the size, weight, charging type, noise, and connectivity. In our opinion, they did a much better job than the guys at Hyperice. The Hypervolt Go 2 felt nearly identical to the older Go. The weight has been reduced by 25%, down from 1.45 pounds to 1.1 pounds. We did the measuring with the ball head attached. This is a significant reduction for a mini massage gun. It basically went from heavy to light in terms of weight category. To turn off the Theragun mini, firmly press and hold the power/speed button until the device shuts off.Therabody offers a one-year manufacturer warranty on the actual massage gun and a 90-day warranty on the battery and attachments.
