NB: you should always consult with your GP before making changes to your conventional medication.” http://www.a-r-h.org/about.htm What does spiritualized resistance mean? Basically, it means that sometimes we can use spiritual healing as an excuse to “get rid of” certain feelings, memories, and experiences that we’ve had. This article is a summary of my book You can heal chronic illness the lotus process: 8 steps to health and happiness. May it provide a roadmap for you or your clients, friends or family members for taking the journey from illness to health. It is based on the experience of my own journey from five years of disabling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to vibrant health, and on those of clients and women in our Women’s Wellness Circle community. I believe we all have vast potential for healing ourselves physically if we follow all these steps, many of which I have no doubt will be familiar to you already. Step 1:Acceptance and surrender I believe that everyone in the spiritual community needs to understand that trying to “heal” is not always about healing. In fact, often, healing is used as an excuse to deny, suppress, disown, or reject what we’re going through.

Spiritual healing is the practice (and experience) of restoring, harmonizing and balancing our Spirit or Soul. It’s important to be educated and use spiritual discernment here. Not all spiritual healing modalities are equal. Not all healers or teachers are in it for yourbest interest. And sometimes, our motivations for spiritual healing are wrong. I’ll explain why next. There was a time during my recovery journey where I felt really selfish because I was spending a lot of time doing inner work and meditation to recover. Eventually I realised that I wouldn’t be able to help others unless I healed myself first. With this in mind, my personal mantra, ‘be selfish so I can be selfless’ enabled me to devote enough time to my healing. Acupuncture needles are very fine.
When they are inserted, patients often describe a feeling of tingling or a dull ache. This sensation usually passes after a couple of minutes and you are left with a generally heavy relaxed feeling in your body. Patients often fall asleep during treatment.

Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives. – Akshay Dubey It was almost nine years ago that I became completely disabled with MCS and CFS. The history of Reiki since it arrived in the west in the mid 1940’s has been surrounded by mystery and confusion. Essential information had been lost along the way, leaving the world of Reiki in conflict with different schools of thought arguing over who teaches the genuine or original Reiki! Now, thanks to Frank Arjarva Petter’s research into the origins of Reiki and the rediscovery of Usui’s original teaching manual, it seems that the cloud of confusion is lifting. Petter’s first book ‘Reiki Fire’, first published in 1997 is probably the most important book on the origins of reiki available in the West.

Sucessful Prevention of Annual Epidemic of Leptospirosis in Cuba – 2.5 million people – with Homeopathy. Usual expectancy of infection with allopathic medications would have been around a few thousands, with some deaths included. With homeopathic prevention – 10 infections only! Near-zero infections, zero deaths from leptospirosis after Aug 2007. And in 2008, no deaths, infections less than 10 a month. Here’s where I come in: your friendly neighborhood shadow worker. I will help to outline exactly how seeking for spiritual healing can be self-destructive and why. Sounds paradoxical, doesn’t it? Well here’s the thing, it is! Spiritual healing can feel like an enigma wrapped in a riddle, and I’ll explain why.

There Is A Way Out...

I have faced my own challenges in life, and successful therapy has helped me both in times of crisis and on an on-going basis for personal development. Although most people seek a therapist in times of difficulty, I believe that in an ideal world everyone would have access to therapy not just in times of crisis but to assist through life’s journey, the ups and the downs. This is because there is so much learning available and a lot to be gained from having a supportive, trustworthy and judgement-free space that you can rely on. My own experience of committing to ongoing therapy regardless of my situation has been life-transforming, positively affecting my relationships with others, my relationship with myself, my prosperity and my personal achievements. Healthline has strict sourcing guidelines and relies on peer-reviewed studies, academic research institutions, and medical associations. We avoid using tertiary references. You can learn more about how we ensure our content is accurate and current by reading our editorial policy. The electricity in our bodies transmits messages to all parts/systems of the body. Illness is caused when these messages are not getting through. All systems of the body are communicating with each other at all times. Water is a great conductor of electricity and it transmits the electrical current. This is how homeopathic mediums work – by communicating a current/pattern/frequency of energy via the whole human body to jump start the body’s own inherent healing mechanisms.’
