Description

The stun gun features a working slide stun/kill button and both the stun gun and comlock are hollow to provide space for custom electronics and lighting. The set includes options for three versions of the stun gun and includes viewscreen and ID badge variants on the water-slide decal sheet. It is the same scale as the MPC kit and attachments and decals produced by Tangents and Small Art Works may be used with it. This kit allows you to add an interior back wall and pilots to the MPC 1/72 Space 1999 Eagle Transporter.

However, its unique look captured the attention of Gerry Anderson’s production team who transformed it into the futuristic Moonbuggy depicted in Space:1999. Warp had originally planned to produce a accurising kit for the MPC Eagle but decided to produce a completely new kit instead. Limited edition of 50 copies, later extended to 100 (first batch of 25 released first week of August, second batch at the end of October 1998), and then 200 (in 1999).I painted the tubular frames then glued them in place around the walkways, setting the parts aside to dry completely. It's very modular and so there's quite a bit of repetition and there was a lot of clean up to be done after removing the parts from the sprue. Accurate" decals and detailed instruction sheet (the parts breakdown is exactly the same as the 22 inch version). Each opening sequence of the first season of the "Space: 1999" television program provided a sneak peek at the action, excitement and explosions that would lie ahead. It comes moulded in two colours with clear parts and includes water-slide decals and assembly guide. I spent 24 hours building MPC’s Eagle and recommend it to intermediate modelers and above looking to add one or more transports to their collection. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page. They include three options for the crew module windows: blacked out, crew in helmets, or crew without helmets. Garage kits are made of polyurethane resin in limited numbers by non-professionals (unlike styrene injection molded kits produced by mainstream companies like Airfix, Revell, AMT and Tamiya).Fitting Part 37 around the fuel tanks proved tricky; I installed the combustion chambers (parts 38 and 39), then added the fuel pipe (Part 42).

Next, I jumped to Step 21 to build the cargo/passenger pod and painted it orange with gray window surrounds to represent a VIP module. The legs won’t feature springs, but there will be two sets of legs in “landed” and “flying” positions. I think I would feel much more comfortable masking and painting the panelling on a larger model, I may need to do a larger Eagle at some point and I'd have a bit more confidence with it having done this one.I painted them flat black and installed the parts along with the flying display piece for the stand. This model is a very impressive display piece and is a must if you really want to show off your Eagle Transporter. The star vehicle of the ground breaking work was the Eagle, the venerable workhorse of Moon Base Alpha. Very neat and considering how much weathering you did in the build thread it looks remarkably clean Then again I do tend to dirty up my Eagles quite a bit. The Meta Probe was bizarrely shortened, but the Hawk looked pretty accurate from the (quite poor) photograph used on auctions.

This large scale plastic model kit of the Eagle Transporter from Space 1999 measures 22″ (56cm) long and features a huge amount of detail. The previous release of the 12” version of the ship has always been well-received by fans and modellers everywhere. This 1/48 scale model features the authentic detail modellers have come to expect in MPC’s lineup of Space:1999 kits. The Hawk, however, was a sleeker design that was unencumbered by the need to serve in utilitarian roles. For the Ultra Probe, the neck behind the command module is far too long, the front tank cylinders behind are far too short, and the framework spine has obvious distortion. The opener to season two of Space:1999 introduced this fan-favorite variation of the Eagle Transporter. I would have liked to have had more prominent colour boxes/textures/shading added, to be more like the filming models, there are a few shaded boxes on the model but the colour is too close to the base colour so they hardly show in these photos. clear acrylic and templates for the windows which will need to be cut out of the beak, instructions included.
