Unlike the game of this genre it most closely resembles - Funemployed - the set-up is a little too specific to get away with a vague response. Bucket of Doom is the only game where you can plan your escape from the Death Star garbage crusher with only a Mc Whopper in hand or how to get away from an exam just with a Kinder Egg. Boys' and girls' toy vehicle: With two distinct construction possibilities, the LEGO DREAMZzz Mateo's Off-Road automobile toy lets kids let their imaginations run wild. For example, if you were falling out of a plane without a parachute, you could use your 'VIP Tickets to One Direction' to summon an army of teenagers to cushion your fall.

The scenarios and solutions presented on the cards are usually entertaining, and a lot of fun particularly for pop culture nerds – there are set ups based on Star Wars, Nightmare on Elm Street, Alien, The Martian… and I even noticed some of the cards referencing more obscure works like The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and, possibly, Black Dynamite. If you can get past the extreme fear of losing, this game is hours of imaginative fun with some of the best replay value we’ve ever seen. The object cards range from quite useful, to absolutely bonkers including Bagpipes, an angry beaver, prize winning marrows and a Barry White CD. Once all have shared their escape plans, players vote on the best and that player gets to keep the doom card.useless object cards are included within the Bucket of Doom as well as 70 strange and slightly terrifying situations.

Sell your escape plan to your friends and whoever is voted to have the best is crowned the winner/survivor! When a deadly scenario is pulled from the pack (for example – you’ve fallen down a well) all you have to do is pick one of your object cards that would save you from this terrible ordeal. This, in effect, doubles the amount of cards in the deck, as each side’s items are completely different - well, almost. Some scenarios are smart and satirical - I loved the subtlety of the one where all it says is that you’re a lion in the Savannah, sunning yourself when a dentist appears - and this just makes the juvenilia of ones where you’ve done a troublesome poo or have your girlfriend’s dad touching your knee rather disappointing. Could be easily adapted for younger audiences- no rocket surgery here - you could easily add your own scenarios and objects and remove the adult oriented material (we did for a group of pre-teens and they laughed for hours playing the game). Bucket of Doom is quick to learn and easy to play but like any good game it’s a challenge to master. She assumed it was something to do with a Mac Computer and said she would use it to "hack" the bomb to defuse it .

To play, simply read the situation card, check the ‘useless item’ card for your useless item, and make up a survival story that, for the sake of your nose, wins the round! Players take it in turns to share their daring escape from impending doom using one of their personal object cards to escape. Before this game, ‘bucket of doom’ might have meant the month-old, unrefrigerated take-out chicken under your sofa.and I even noticed some of the cards referencing more obscure works like The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and, possibly, Black Dynamite. From being buried alive to being stuck in the back end of a human centipede, you need to think about how to escape. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). TERRIFYING SCENARIOS: Escape from 70 horrific situations involving militant vegans, human centipedes and angry sith lords. The player with the most votes wins the round and takes the Doom Card, and the first to three Doom Cards wins!

To win, they must keep every member of the team alive - if any player is killed the game ends immediately and all players lose.

You find with many games that the 'brilliant' cards few and far between, but with this each one is fantastic, and because each scenario and useless object combination is always different and played by a different person each time it won't be a game that gets boring quickly.
