But even a lifetime of mishaps and faux pas can’t prepare her for the disaster she’s gotten herself into. Wrong Number is the most sidesplittingly funny, shenanigan-packed, sexual tension-filled book I’ve read in a long, long time. I definitely recommend this one if you love books that make you laugh and leave a smile on your face. It had tropes I adore (brother’s best friend, enemies-to-lovers) and every turn of the page just got better.

Diary entries fancifully addressed to TV host Ellen DeGeneres serve as flashbacks to Lily’s teenage years, when she met her first love, Atlas Corrigan, a homeless boy she found squatting in a neighbor’s house. But in real-time, Olivia and Colin (without their alter-egos) are warming up to one another, maybe even more than casual acquaintances. In between, Lily and Atlas steal away for romantic moments that are even sweeter for their authenticity as Lily struggles with child care, breastfeeding, and running a business while trying to find time for herself. I’m going to leave this review off with one of my favorite quotes from this book that describes why Olivia is such a treat to read. Wrong Number, an anonymous man who accidentally sent her a saucy message, has grown from lighthearted banter to what might be a real connection.

stars Mohanlal, Maniyanpilla Raju, Jagathy Sreekumar, Lissy and Menaka, with Mukesh in a guest appearance.

Things get textual when a steamy message from a random wrong number turns into an anonymous relationship in this hilarious rom-com by Lynn Painter.Wrong Number by Lynn Painter is a sassy, saucy, and stimulating read for whenever you feel like experiencing butterflies. Wrong Number and it was just such a frustrating read that I needed to vent to the sub for a little bit. Hilarious, heart-melting, and hopeful , Painter's adult debut is a romantic delight that I wished would never end. If you are looking for a rom-com that is light, funny, and oh so steamy, then you need to check out Mr.

I'd fallen in love with that face briefly at the age of fourteen, but after eavesdropping on a conversation where he'd referred to me as the "little weirdo" at age fifteen, I'd taken an extreme right turn into loathing and never looked back. Wrong Number puts the 'com' in rom-com, delivering energetic, laugh-out-loud hilarity from page one. She does grow when it comes to dealing with romantic relationships, but she didn’t change who she was for a man. While their texts lean flirtatious, she’s happy to stick to an on-screen relationship with her anonymous confidant.

The takeaway of this story is to live in the moment and not be afraid to laugh at your mistakes or misfortunes; “You aren’t a hot mess at all Livvie. Her writing, especially when it comes to comedy, is impeccable I just think there was something missing from the plot or emotional development here. Painter is known for her steam contempo romances so if that is your thing then I think this book will be right up your alley! Meanwhile, she finds work writing a parenting column for the local newspaper, having failed to correct her editor’s assumption that she has children of her own.He was wearing his I'm-better-than-you smirk and dickish good looks while I traversed the apartment in underpants and a too-small shirt like some sort of Winnie-the-Pooh variety of dipshit. I loved her relationship with her brothers, it was like a ‘you annoy me/But I’ll always have your back’ relationship. It is also important to note that the steamy scenes were more of a fade-to-black, and while I didn’t necessarily mind this choice, it is something to be aware of going into the book. I adored the banter in this book, how Colin learnt to really look at and began to understand Olivia as well as the way their relationship progressed and developed.
