I won't go into extreme detail about the plot, the characters, or the writing because spoilers are no fun. Sandy and Mark are the only people with the knowledge and psychic skills to stop the horrific destruction that has been planned. The other thing I find unique about bio's is that you can't make most of this stuff up and if read with that in mind while chewing on that tongue that is still stuck in your cheek, it is well worth the time and effort. While working on the case, they encounter some odd persons who must be investigated as potential suspects. It was one of those tales that take you completely by surprise and leaves you hazy about what to expect before charming you so thoroughly that you find it impossible to put it down.

All the while I appreciated the intrigue of the case they were investigating, but that wasn't the best part for me. Revelling in the freedom conferred by anonymity, he becomes an actor, stripper, rent boy, lover, teacher and dedicated traveller through Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, where travellers were uncommon and countries still retained many of the differences that made travelling so interesting. And to my family's dismay, I even finished reading the narrative in one sitting without having my dinner on time.

Will everything end happily ever after or will it all come crashing down like a body in the scorching desert? I'm eager to see how far this author goes once the world gets to know his works, and I'll be watching for it with anticipation. A moving and amusing story of hope and love, sex and sexuality, theatrical showmanship and artless innocence, laced with a little philosophical speculation as he wanders the world in pursuit of true love. Titian's "Sacred and Profane Love" and Michelangelo's 'Sistine Ceiling' and "Doni Tondo" are obvious examples.

Rigby meets with a wide variety of people, life styles and customs, eventually settling in Paris where the state did not consider his sexuality to be a criminal offence. It plays with our minds and imagination, trying to predict what comes next and what is to unravel in the next chapters. In 2014, WW described the vibe thusly: "Mustachioed members of the young broletariat take the MAX here to swill Colt 45 and Old Crow with a wink. The action scenes were immaculately done, while the fast-paced narrative moved along the dexterously penned sequence.Throughout, I would like to say that Brad Newby is an author that I am certain a lot of people would love to learn from.
